INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A forecast of heavy rain and possibly a thunderstorm Wednesday night has some southern Indiana communities changing their Halloween trick-or-treating times.

Those moving to Tuesday include New Albany and Floyd County, the Jefferson County towns of Clarksville, Charlestown, Sellersburg, Henryville, Utica, and Borden, and all of the communities in adjacent Washington County.

Mayor Mike Ochs of North Vernon said trick-or-treating there has been rescheduled to Friday. The Bartholomew County town of Hope also switched to Friday.

The National Weather Service predicts rainfall of 1-2 inches is possible Wednesday night in parts of southern Indiana.
