WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was killed when her car rammed into a parked construction truck on a highway north of New York City.
State police say Patricia Jimenez-Gaylor’s 2018 Nissan SUV struck the 1991 Ford F550 around 1:30 a.m. Monday on eastbound Interstate 287 in White Plains.
The 49-year-old Mamaroneck woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the construction truck was treated for minor injuries.
State police say the impact of the crash pushed the F550 into another construction vehicle and caused damage to it.
