OGLETOWN, Del. (AP) - A 19-year-old man in Delaware is accused of threatening to bomb his Ogletown high school.

The News Journal of Delaware reports Maurice Wayman was arrested Wednesday and charged with terroristic threatening. State police say some Christiana High School students received messages on Instagram last week that said an explosive device planted at the school would detonate that afternoon. State police master Cpl. Michael Austin says the school was evacuated for several hours and determined to be safe.

Two girls, aged 16 and 17, received threatening messages on Tuesday from the same Instagram account that shared the bomb threat. Austin says Wayman was linked to all the messages.

Wayman has been released from custody with a no-contact order for the girls and school. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
