KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - Montana wildlife managers have euthanized two yearling grizzly bears that had become habituated to human food in Flathead County.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks says the bears were captured on Sunday north of Polebridge after landowners reported that the bears were ripping into a yurt, broke into a cooler, got into garbage and attempted to break into cars and trailers. The adult female with the yearlings mostly stayed in the background.

The Flathead Beacon reports that attempts to haze the bears were unsuccessful.

The adult female was left in the wild.

Also on Sunday, game managers captured and relocated a subadult male grizzly just south of Polebridge that had been feeding in a field of oats and was close to a road.
