POWNAL, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont town of Pownal has appointed three residents to help the select board with economic development issues.
The Bennington Banner reports the Select Board unanimously voted to appoint Adam Todorski, John Gijanto and Karen Gallese, all volunteers, to the town’s Economic Development Committee.
The committee will hold its first public meeting Nov. 14.
Town Administrator Michael Walker says all three are successful, smart and very energetic and they want to do something for the community.
The creation of the committee was called for in the town plan, which was adopted in May.
