HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A pedestrian has died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in northern Alabama.

Police in Huntsville say the collision happened around 9 p.m. Monday.

Lt. Michael Johnson told news outlets the pedestrian was hit by two vehicles. Johnson says the first driver kept going. The second driver who hit the victim stopped and talked with officers.



Investigators are awaiting an FBI fingerprint analysis to identify the victim.

No other details were immediately available.
