JOHNSTOWN, Colo. (AP) - A northern Colorado man has died in an accident at a manufacturer of doors and wood plank flooring in Johnstown.
Weld County officials say a piece of wood thrown from a machine at Sun Mountain Custom Doors struck 54-year-old Steven Verle Deniston in the chest on Tuesday. The Milliken man was pronounced dead at the hospital in nearby Loveland.
An autopsy was planned.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
