LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a helicopter has made an emergency landing in a Dodger Stadium parking lot but no injuries are reported.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Armando Viera says it was a tour helicopter that reported a mechanical problem during a flight. He says the chopper landed safely in the stadium’s northern parking lot at about 2:30 p.m.
A sheriff’s helicopter landed to see whether anyone needed help but Viera says everyone was fine.
It’s unclear how many people were on board.
TV reports showed a small red helicopter sitting upright, taking up several spaces in the empty lot. It appeared undamaged.
Los Angeles police say they didn’t handle the incident.
The Dodgers are out of town. They’re in Milwaukee on Friday for Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.
