Back home for the first time since their Week 3 upset win over the Green Bay Packers, the Washington Redskins will want to recapture some of the good mojo from that game.

It’s Week 6 in the NFL, and the Redskins play their second of three straight NFC South opponents Sunday when they host Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. Here’s everything you need to know before kickoff.

Opponent: Carolina Panthers (3-1)

Where: FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland

When: Sunday, Oct. 14, 1:00 p.m.

Television: Fox

Radio: The Team 980

What to watch for: The Redskins haven’t beaten Carolina since 2006, and Newton is 4-0 against Washington in his career with nine touchdown passes and zero interceptions … A battle in the ground game could set the tone for how the game unfolds: Carolina leads the NFL with 154 rushing yards per game, while Washington’s defense allows only 92.5 rushing yards per contest on average, the sixth-best mark in the league … The Panthers could have tight end Greg Olsen back on the field for the first time since Week 1, when he injured his foot.
