SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Springfield police are investigating the stabbing death of a 39-year-old woman.
Police said in a news release that they found the body of Toni Brooks Wednesday evening in a Springfield apartment.
Police were sent to the home after someone asked them to check on the resident’s well-being.
As of early Thursday, police had not identified a suspect.
