PITTSBURGH (AP) - Authorities say a teenage driver struck and injured six students near a Pittsburgh high school.
But it’s not yet known what caused the accident, which occurred around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The University Prep students were being treated at hospitals for undisclosed injuries that ranged from minor to serious. But none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
The female driver’s name was not released, but authorities say she also attends University Prep. The say the girl and a male passenger initially fled the scene but later returned.
Authorities say it’s too early to say whether any charges will be filed.
