PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona will rededicate the state’s monument for World War I military veterans with an hour-long public ceremony at 11 a.m. Sunday, the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Nov. 11, 1918, was originally designated as Armistice Day, but it is now recognized as Veteran’s Day.

The monument is in Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza in Phoenix. Two interpretative plaques are being added in commemoration of the centennial.
