BOSTON (AP) - Boston police say a pedestrian has been struck and killed by a vehicle.
The adult male was struck in the city’s West Roxbury neighborhood just after 7 a.m. Wednesday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene, called 911 and is cooperating with the investigation.
No names were immediately released.
The death came the day after an 89-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle in Turners Falls. Prosecutors say Charity Lehman was struck at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
The deaths are unrelated.
Both remain under investigation and no information on either driver has been released.
