BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A bus struck and injured a pedestrian in downtown Bozeman, but the man’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Sgt. Rick Musson tells the Bozeman Daily Chronicle the 56-year-old man was hit by the Streamline bus at about 4:40 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to the hospital in Bozeman and then flown to another hospital for further treatment.

Musson said the driver did not commit a traffic violation but an investigation indicates alcohol was a factor on the part of the pedestrian.

Police did not release the names of the driver or the pedestrian.
