Idaho Capitol Christmas tree lighted in front of Statehouse

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - The Idaho State Capitol Christmas tree has been lighted.

Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter and first lady Lori Otter on Monday took part in the lighting ceremony of the tree in front of the Statehouse in Boise.

The 35-foot (10-meter) blue spruce is decorated with more than 10,000 lights.
