FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - A 26-foot white fir will be displayed at the Arizona Capitol as this year’s Christmas tree.
The state Department of Forestry and Fire Management recently cut the tree from the Coconino National Forest in Flagstaff. The trees are popular choices for Christmas because of their color and scent. They also have good needle retention.
A lighting ceremony is scheduled next week at the Capitol Rotunda.
