Worker injured by toppling bucket truck in Florida

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) - Officials say a construction worker was injured in Florida when a bucket truck fell over.

The Miami Herald reports that the articulated boom truck toppled Thursday morning in Homestead.

Miami-Dade Fire rescue says the worker was airlifted to a nearby hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately reported.

Officials say a small gas leak caused by the 50-foot lift crashing was easily contained and cleaned up.
