Michael Moore has a message for “white men” as voters prepare to enter polling booths across the nation: “Give it up!”

The director of “Fahrenheit 11/9” took to “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Thursday to encourage white men to “let the majority gender run the show.”

“If I could just speak to my fellow angry white American guys who are semi-uneducated like me — ’dudes, give it up.’ We’ve been running the show for 10,000 years. It’s like we’ve had a long run as men running everything. … Why don’t we just take a break? Let the majority gender run the show. What are you scared of?’”

“Just for — yeah,” Mr. Meyers concurred. “Just to see how it would go.”

Mr. Moore then went on to say that most Americans, despite President Trump’s 2016 election victory and the Republican Party’s control of Congress, “believe in the liberal agenda.”

“Every poll shows this, Seth,” he said. “Whether it’s climate change, equal pay for women, raising the minimum wage, the majority of Americans agree with all those things [and that they] should happen. And we’ve got to trust that.”

The director recently said in “Fahrenheit 11/9” that America must be fundamentally altered, given the election of Mr. Trump.

“If this is the America we’re trying to save, maybe we need to ask ourselves why,” he said. “Why save this America? The America I want to save is the America we’ve never had. … Sometimes I guess it takes a Donald Trump to make us wake up and realize that what we need to do is to acknowledge that we have to get rid of the whole rotten system that gave us Trump.”
