BARRINGTON, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say they are searching for a man who is suspected of impersonating a police officer.
Barrington police say they received a report Monday afternoon that a man went to a local house claiming to be investigating a noise complaint. WMUR-TV reports the unidentified man was reportedly wearing navy blue pants and a navy blue shirt with a logo for Barrington police embroidered on it.
The witness told police the man appeared to be carrying a stun gun but not a firearm. After speaking with the homeowner, police the man drove off in an unmarked black Dodge Charger with tinted windows.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
