CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire is going to get more than $136,000 to support the design of coastal tidal crossings to help communities and ecosystems.
The money is going to the New Hampshire Nature Conservancy for a tidal crossing replacement project. It’s coming from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter said culverts or small bridges allow people to move across the area while ensuring that tidal flows can ebb and flow appropriately.
