EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Police in Everett say they’ve arrested a woman who admitted stabbing her husband to death.

The Everett Police Department says the 50-year-old woman called 911 from an intersection Monday evening and told responding officers she had killed her husband in their apartment. Officers confirmed that a man believed to in his 50s was dead inside.

Investigators say she admitted during an interview that she had planned the killing.

Officials did not immediately identify the woman or her husband, but Snohomish County Jail records appeared to show only one woman being booked for investigation of first-degree domestic violence murder Monday night, Robin Renee Nolcini. It was not immediately clear if she had obtained a lawyer.
