EAST LYME, Conn. (AP) - Police say one person died and two others were flown to a hospital after two cars collided in East Lyme.

WTNH-TV reports the crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Saturday on Flanders Road.

Police say the driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in that car and the driver of the other vehicle were flown by helicopter to Hartford Hospital. Their conditions were not known and no names have been released.



The investigation into the crash is continuing.
