WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) - A teenager who allegedly led police on a chase in Waterbury last year that ended in a child dying in a crash has been arrested.

The Hartford Courant reports 18-year-old Zekhi Eric Lee of Waterbury has been charged on nine charges including first-degree reckless endangerment Monday.

Police say Lee was driving away from police last November when he allegedly hit and killed 3-year-old Justin Quiroz and seriously injured three others.

An attorney for Lee could not be immediately identified. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
