LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: CNN’s desperate measures

OPINION:

Last Sunday I happened to watch CNN’s “State of the Union.” The show had a large panel of participants discussing a New York Times report that President Trump would not be invited to Sen. John McCain’s funeral. I was appalled that they would consider this to be a newsworthy topic. My God, the man is still alive. The discussion went on, with no one seemingly aware of how perverse the discussion was.

CNN may think this is a valid topic (I wonder if they verified the story before reporting it?), but to me it seemed they were just salivating, at Mr. McCain’s expense, at an opportunity to make our president look bad. Well, it was enough for me to no longer make CNN a channel worth my time.
