KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - Work is scheduled to begin Monday on Interstate 80 in south-central Nebraska.
The Nebraska Transportation Department says work will be done on a 7-mile (12-kilometer) stretch between Kearney and Minden. It will include removing and patching pavement and sealing joints.
Work will begin in the eastbound lanes. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with a width restriction and reduced speed.
The project is expected to be finished by fall.
