NEW YORK (AP) - A homeless man has been struck and killed by a New York City subway train.

The Daily News reports that the man was killed by an R train at the Court Street station in Brooklyn around 4 a.m. Friday. He was not immediately identified.

The man was removed from the tracks and normal service was restored before the morning rush hour.
