NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - One person has died after a shooting at an apartment complex in South Carolina.
Dorchester County sheriff’s Maj. Tony Phinney told news outlets that officers were called to an apartment complex just outside North Charleston shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Phinney says deputies found a male victim who had died at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released.
Witnesses said they heard several gunshots. Phinney says no arrests have been reported.
