WILLOW, Alaska (AP) - A 66-year-old Willow woman was seriously injured in a head-on crash on the Parks Highway.
Alaska State Troopers say Johnnie Winder drove a pickup north early Tuesday afternoon and crossed into the southbound lane.
Her truck collided with a work van driven by 75-year-old Jesus Delgado of Wasilla.
Both vehicles were demolished.
A LifeMed helicopter transported Winder to an Anchorage hospital.
Delgado was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance.
