WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Two firefighters have been injured during a Massachusetts apartment building fire that displaced over a dozen people.

MassLive.com reports the blaze started at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in a four-story Worcester building.

Firefighters arrived to find the top floor partially engulfed, but were able to put out the fire within 20 minutes.



Two firefighters were treated at the scene with minor injuries. Two dogs were pulled from the building. One dog, a poodle, survived.

There is no report of resident injuries. Police say 17 people are displaced and being assisted by The American Red Cross. Investigators are searching for the cause of the fire.
