NEWPORT, Del. (AP) - Authorities in northern Delaware are investigating a double homicide after finding two people fatally shot in a car.
New Castle County Police were dispatched early Thursday morning to a reported motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Kiamensi Road and Rothwell Drive.
Officers found two people inside of the car, both with apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities say 30-year-old Isabel Cooper and 34-year-old Berry Thessalonis were pronounced dead at the scene.
