LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - The Latest on the aftermath of a fatal house explosion (all times local):

3:30 p.m.

An energy company says it resolved legal claims made by two families after a fatal house explosion in northern Colorado that was blamed on a leaking gas pipeline.

Anadarko Petroleum said Wednesday it reached agreements with the families of Mark Martinez and Joey Irwin, who were killed in the April 2017 explosion in the town of Firestone.

Anadarko said in a statement that Martinez and Irwin were blameless in the incident.

The Texas-based company said it would not disclose the details of the agreements.

Investigators said the explosion was caused by odorless, unrefined natural gas from a pipeline that was severed about 10 feet (3 meters) from the house. The line was believed to be abandoned but was still connected to an operating well.

Anadarko operated the well.

Anadarko spokeswoman Jennifer Brice says the house was bought as part of a settlement agreement following the blast.

The company says it is working with city officials and others to determine the best use of the property.

Investigators have said the explosion was caused by unrefined natural gas from a pipeline that was severed near the house.
