RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Heavy rain on top of melting mountain snow is causing flooding along the upper Wind River in west-central Wyoming.
The National Weather Service posted flood warnings Wednesday for the area around Dubois in Fremont County.
The Wind River near Dubois is expected to fluctuate around flood stage Wednesday night through Friday morning. Minor flooding of low lying areas in and around Dubois is expected.
In northern Wyoming, a flood watch was posted for the Sheridan area because of rain and runoff from the snowmelt.
