DENVER (AP) - An investigation is underway after a person and a dog were found dead in a home that caught fire in suburban Denver.

The Denver Post reports firefighters were called early Tuesday morning after someone saw smoke coming from a home in Englewood. Scot Allen, a spokesman for the Englewood Police Department, did not release the name of the victim or say what caused the fire.

No other information was available.
