BALTIMORE (AP) - A pedestrian struck by a light rail train in Baltimore has died.
Baltimore Fire spokeswoman Blair Skinner tells news outlets the man was hit in downtown on Thursday morning. The Maryland Transit Administration confirmed his death.
A notice on the MTA website says Light RailLink service between North Avenue and Camden Yards has been temporarily suspended. Shuttle bus service will accommodate passengers between those stations.
The man’s age and name has not been released.
An investigation is underway.
