MEDFORD, Mass. (AP) - Police in Massachusetts say a juvenile driver accusing of striking and killing a woman and injuring others was under the influence of drugs.

The driver, whose name was not released because of his age, was arraigned Monday in Cambridge Juvenile Court with charges including operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury, and leaving the scene of an accident.

The teenager had hit 64-year-old Judy Moses, a realtor who had just finished showing a house Sunday afternoon. He went on to hit a dog and two more pedestrians before being apprehended when his Toyota crashed into a bank in Medford at about 5 p.m.

The 27-year-old man and the 28-year-old woman with the dog were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries and remain hospitalized. The dog died.

No victims’ names have been released. The crash remains under investigation.
