TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Officials say vandals targeted a Tucson Catholic church last week, knocking down and shattering a crucifix.

KGUN-TV reports unknown people vandalized the Santa Cruz Catholic Church on Sixth Avenue.

Santa Cruz Parish business manager Karen Estavillo says the vandals also threw a rock through a stained-glass window and damaged a statue.

Officials ask that anyone with information about the vandalism to call the Pima County anonymous tip hotline.
