JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a man’s death in Jefferson City as a homicide.

Police said in a news release that officers were responding Sunday to a call about a nonresponsive man when they found the 41-year-old Ronald Rattler dead. Police say he was shot at least once. His death was initially considered suspicious but now has been classified as a homicide.

Police released no other details.
