LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (AP) - A suburban Kansas City man has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in a deadly crash.

The Kansas City Star reports that 58-year-old Carl Martin was killed late Monday when another driver rear-ended his car on Interstate 470 in Lee’s Summit. Martin’s car overturned and ejected him before catching on fire. Marin, of Lee’s Summit, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries and released. Reports show the 41-year-old was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The patrol says neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
