NEW YORK (AP) - A fire that raged through a Bronx apartment building has claimed two lives and critically injured two other people.

WCBS says the fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. Monday in the Belmont neighborhood.

Firefighters had to battle flames at the front door so they could get inside.



The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
