OPINION:
If the U.S. Constitution stated, “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear children, shall not be infringed,” would gun-ban activists assert that only militia members may have children?
Congress has complete power under Article I “for organizing, arming and disciplining the militia.” It is disingenuous to argue that the Second Amendment pertains to a militia.
