Stormy Daniels’ highly anticipated “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper is shaping up to be the show’s most successful since Steve Kroft’s first post-election sit-down with Barack and Michelle Obama almost a decade ago, according to early Nielsen figures.

Sunday night’s program scored a 16.3 rating and a 27 share in the 56 Nielsen metered markets — its best performance since the Obamas were interviewed on Nov. 16, 2008, The Wrap reported.

Ms. Daniels, an adult-film actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, opened up in the much-hyped interview Sunday about her alleged 2006 affair with President Trump.

For the first time, Ms. Clifford described an alleged threat she said a man made against her in 2011 in a Las Vegas parking lot after she tried to share her story to In Touch magazine.
