WESTFIELD, Vt. (AP) - Police in Vermont are investigating a head-on crash that injured five people over the weekend.

WCAX-TV reports the crash happened Friday night on state Route 100 in Westfield.

Police say the driver of the first car suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. Authorities say the driver of the second car, 28-year-old Victoria Mason, and one of her passengers suffered serious injuries. Police say Mason’s two juvenile passengers suffered minor injuries.



An investigation continues.
