Terrelle Pryor has officially moved on from his failed one-year stint with the Washington Redskins.

Pryor agreed to join the New York Jets late Thursday. He’ll look to restore his value after the wide receiver caught just 240 yards in nine game for the Redskins.

The Jets officially announced the signing Sunday.

“I’m so happy to be a part of this organization and this team, this young team,” Pryor said in a video on the Jets’ Twitter page. “I’m excited. It’s time to get to work. Jet up!”

Pryor entered the 2017 with expectations of being the Redskins’ No. 1 receiver. In 2017, he signed a one-year, $6 million contract in hopes to parlay that into a career-high payday. Pryor looked great in training camp, but never found chemistry with Kirk Cousins once the regular season started.

To make matters worse, Pryor dealt with an ongoing foot injury after being hurt in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams. His production on the field suffered, and coach Jay Gruden benched Pryor in the Week 7 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pryor went on injured reserve in November, undergoing season-ending foot surgery. He was not expected to be back.

Pryor isn’t far removed from showing signs he could be a star wide receiver. Before joining Washington, Pryor was coming off a career-year with the Cleveland Browns, finishing with 1,007 yards and four touchdowns.

A former quarterback, Pryor switched to wide receiver in 2015.

Pryor will join a rebuilding Jets team who recently traded up for the third pick in the draft, presumably to draft a quarterback. New York also signed Josh McCown, last year’s starter, and Teddy Bridgewater in free agency to compete for the starting job at quarterback.
