ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A crash involving a semi-trailer has forced traffic on the Glenn Highway to be rerouted into Alaska largest city.
Anchorage police just after 1 p.m. Wednesday say an 18-wheeler struck the south Eagle River overpass of the Glenn Highway, closing all in-bound lanes.
Drivers heading into Anchorage were advised to get off the Glenn Highway at the North Eagle River exit and return to the highway at the Highland exit.
Police say Department of Transportation crews were heading to the crash scene.
