RIPLEY, Miss. (AP) - Heavy rain and hail has forced Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. to close its Ripley facility in Mississippi.
A company statement says the plant has closed for safety reasons and will continue to assess the weather-related damage.
It said the plant planned to reopen this week. News outlets report Ripley employees were told to call the attendance line for updates on when they can return to work.
