MILWAUKEE (AP) - One person has died after two side-by-side homes caught fire in Milwaukee.
Firefighters responded to the city’s north side about 4 a.m. Wednesday. Flames from a home on fire had jumped to the house next door. Firefighters used axes and saws to remove parts of the roof to put out hot spots.
The medical examiner expects to do an autopsy Wednesday. The victim has not been identified.
