BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) - Police say a passenger was killed in the rollover crash of a car driven by a 14-year-old girl in Southern California.

Officials say two 17-year-old boys were thrown from the car in the single-vehicle crash Tuesday in Bakersfield. One of the boys died at a hospital. The other passenger and the young driver suffered minor to moderate injuries.

The Bakersfield Californian reports the car left the roadway and overturned. The crash is under investigation.



No arrests have been made.
