APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say 16 children suffered minor injuries after two school buses collided in Apache Junction.

Superstition Fire and Medical District officials say the incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. Thursday in front of Desert Vista Elementary School.

They say one bus apparently hit the other from behind while travelling at a slow speed.



Photos posted online by the Fire and Medical District show paramedics treating and evaluating children at the scene.
