POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - A barge fitted with glassblowing equipment is making a stop in Poughkeepsie.

The 80-foot-long barge operated by the Corning Museum of Glass is docking along the Hudson River at Poughkeepsie Friday through Sunday. The craft is equipped with electric glassblowing equipment and offers free demonstrations to guests who pre-register.

Corning’s GlassBarge is traveling to 30 cities and towns as it helps celebrate the Erie Canal’s bicentennial.
