WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) - A car has crashed into a health center in Pennsylvania, killing one person and leaving two injured.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday when a Jeep Liberty slammed into a building at Neighborhood Health Center in Washington.
Police say 57-year-old Kimberly Dollard was working in the clinic’s registration office when she was struck by the car. The Washington County coroner’s office says Dollard was pronounced dead at the scene.
A patient being registered in the clinic was injured in the crash and has been hospitalized for treatment.
Police say the car’s driver was also hospitalized.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. KDKA-TV reports police do not believe it was intentional.
